- Participation in the Association of Science & Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport Program for all Reciprocal membership levels. As part of this program, our members are eligible to receive free admission to more than 350 participating science centers and museums around the world.
- For Household Reciprocal level members, in addition to ASTC, participation in the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association and Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM). Across these three networks, this level allows participants free admission to nearly 2,000 science centers and museums, art and history museums, children’s museums, and botanical gardens across North America and the world.

Annual membership, includes ASTC Passport Program, NARM Association, and ROAM Network reciprocal benefits for a household/family. See each network’s website for the definition of household/family.
- Please allow 7 to 10 business days for membership processing. Cards are not auto-generated. After processing, digital membership cards are emailed by our membership team. Physical cards will be sent to you via US Mail.
- Renewal notices will be mailed approximately 6 weeks before your expiration date. You may renew by mail with a check or through our website with a credit card.

The Friends of the Carnegie Museum is a 501(c)3 organization and a portion of your contribution may be tax deductible. Thank you for supporting our educational programs, exhibits, and community outreach!
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. You may be asked to present a photo ID when using your membership card at other institutions.

Your membership is valid for one year. It is valid until the end of the month 12 months from the date of purchase.
You can renew at any time before your membership expires. It will extend your membership’s expiration date by a year.
Yes, you can purchase a gift membership. To purchase online, fill out the form below with the recipient’s contact information. Use the Gift Membership text box to indicate the address where the membership should be mailed (only if different from the address listed on the form). You may also purchase a gift membership by phone or in person at the front desk during open hours.

A household is most commonly considered up to 2 adults and up to 2 children sharing an address, but each participating science center or museum has its own admissions policy stating how many visitors are eligible for reciprocal benefits.
(Some include up to 4 children, some include only 1 adult, etc.)
