Your financial contribution directly supports The Friends of the Carnegie Museum. The Friends in turn provide support for programming, events, exhibits, supplies, and other museum operations.

The Friends of the Carnegie Museum is a 501(c)3 organization and a portion of your contribution may be tax deductible.

Do you have an item to donate to the museum? We depend on community support for our exhibits — and we are committed to preserving your heritage.

Please note: The museum collects 3D objects, whereas the library manages the 2D archive. Depending on your donation, you will be directed to either the library or the museum to review your items.

Books, Movies, & Paper Items

The Crawfordsville District Public Library accepts donations of books and movies in good condition. Donated items that meet our collection development criteria may be added to the library collection. Other items will go to the monthly Friends book sale, where proceeds help fund library operations!
