Friends of CMMC
Hello from the Friends of the Carnegie Museum!
The Friends of the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County is a group of volunteers and donors who embody the community’s support for the museum. Through fundraising efforts and program support, the Friends of the Museum help staff accomplish the museum’s mission.
Your financial contribution to the Friends of the Museum goes directly to supporting the museum in a number of ways.
- Collecting and preserving our shared past
- Creating interesting, interactive, and interdisciplinary exhibits
- Highlighting the incredible things that have been accomplished by our citizens
- Collaborating with the community to provide unique displays, programs, talks, and workshops, from history exhibits to STEM programming to art shows.
Members of the Friends of the Carnegie Museum also receive exclusive benefits, such as a discount in the museum gift shop and access to the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport Program (all levels) and the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association (Steel Baron level).
